New HD Radio products on display

The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) EXPO held this year (which is the largest event that displays the residential electronic systems industry) will review and display several of the latest, next-generation radio components that feature HD Radio technology. In total, over 20 will be available for display at the show, including least seven new models from leading brands McIntosh Laboratories, Integra, and Yamaha.

There are more than 1,750 radio stations broadcasting today that are using HD Radio technology and there are  over 800 that are offering HD2 and HD3 multicast channels. These stations are providing consumers in over 180 markets with new format choices and content, data services and crystal-clear sound. With coverage reaching over 80 percent of the U.S. population, HD digital Radio technology is currently the hottest digital lifestyle upgrade around!

 

7 New HD Radio Products from 3 Premier Audio Manufacturers
Three of the best, biggest, and best reviewed players in the home theater sector are launching new models at the  CEDIA EXPO. Integra, McIntosh and Yamaha will be premiering seven new models.  McIntosh’s TM2 (module for MA6600 tuner), Integra’s DHC 9.9, DTR 8.9 and DTR 9.9; M; and Yamaha’s RX-V1900, RX-V3900 and RX-Z7 will all be unveiled on the floor of this year’s CEDIA show. All of these radios have received positive initial reviews.
