A New, Updated HD Radio Holiday Ads Start Soon

The HD Digital Radio Alliance has created its ad campaign for the holiday season. The campaign will focus on and review the numerous free digital radio channels that are available on a new HD Radio receiver.

The spots will be 30-second and they will highlight why HD radio receivers make great gifts, with clear digital sound and also new, free programming, The commercials will end with "Merry Christmas from HD Radio." or  "Happy holidays from HD Radio".

Radio listeners may even hear Santa's elves in some of the commercials talking about HD Radio technology in a holiday campaign from the the HD Digital Radio Alliance.

The new ads will begin around Nov. 5 and runs through Dec. 28.

The spots will also remind listeners that they can text SANTA or GIFT to 58011 to hear about HD Radio discounts, features, and specials.

Also starting on the 5th, listeners can go to www.hdradio.com to watch and review a holiday streaming mini movie that will support the ad campaign. They will also be giving away free info on iTunes Tagging and receivers.
